What codec and protocol compatibility does the Standard Route offer?
The Standard Route supports G.711 (alaw and ulaw) and G.729 audio codecs, and is fully compatible with standard SIP (RFC3261).
DTMF is supported via RFC2833 and in-band methods. The route integrates with any standard Class 4 or Class 5 softswitch, including Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, OpenSIPS, Sippy, and PortaSwitch, without requiring custom configuration.
Are there setup fees or minimum volume requirements for the Standard Route?
No. VoiceBuy operates on a fully transparent pay-as-you-go model across all routing tiers, including Standard. There are no setup fees, no activation charges, and no minimum monthly volume commitments. You load credit to your account and pay only for the exact call seconds consumed,
