This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) establishes the rules governing the use of VoiceBuy’s website, cloud communications platform, telecommunications infrastructure, APIs, software, hosted services, and all related products (collectively, the “Services”).

The purpose of this policy is to protect VoiceBuy, its customers, partners, carriers, and the global telecommunications ecosystem from illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activities.

By using VoiceBuy’s Services, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy, our Terms & Conditions, applicable service agreements, and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all users of VoiceBuy Services, including:

  • Enterprises
  • Carriers
  • Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs)
  • Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
  • Wholesale Voice Providers
  • Resellers
  • Business Customers
  • API Users
  • Contractors
  • Partners
  • Website Visitors

3. Lawful Use

Customers must use the Services only for lawful purposes.

Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and telecommunications rules applicable to their operations.

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited.

Telecommunications Fraud

You may not use the Services for:

  • Artificial traffic generation
  • Traffic pumping
  • Revenue share fraud
  • Premium rate fraud
  • International revenue share fraud (IRSF)
  • SIM box fraud
  • Wangiri fraud
  • PBX hacking
  • Call spoofing where prohibited by law
  • CLI manipulation intended to deceive
  • Bypass routing
  • Call hijacking
  • Number harvesting
  • Toll fraud

Illegal Communications

Users may not transmit, distribute, or facilitate:

  • Illegal content
  • Fraudulent communications
  • Harassing communications
  • Threatening communications
  • Defamatory material
  • Unlawful robocalls
  • Unsolicited bulk communications
  • Spam
  • Scam campaigns
  • Phishing attempts

Network Abuse

Users may not:

  • Launch denial-of-service attacks
  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Exploit software vulnerabilities
  • Circumvent authentication
  • Interfere with network operations
  • Disrupt service availability
  • Scan networks without authorization
  • Deploy malware
  • Deploy ransomware
  • Deploy spyware
  • Use malicious scripts

Platform Abuse

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer VoiceBuy software except where permitted by law
  • Copy proprietary software
  • Abuse APIs
  • Exceed documented rate limits
  • Attempt to bypass security controls
  • Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions
  • Use stolen credentials
  • Share account credentials without authorization

5. Wholesale Voice Traffic

Customers using wholesale voice services agree to ensure that traffic:

  • Is lawfully originated
  • Is accurately identified
  • Does not intentionally conceal caller identity where prohibited
  • Complies with international routing regulations
  • Does not involve fraudulent call generation
  • Does not exploit numbering resources

VoiceBuy reserves the right to investigate suspicious traffic patterns.

6. SIP Trunking and Cloud PBX

Customers using SIP or PBX services must:

  • Secure their SIP credentials
  • Protect administrative accounts
  • Use strong authentication
  • Maintain updated devices
  • Monitor unauthorized registrations
  • Prevent toll fraud
  • Report security incidents promptly

Customers remain responsible for all activity generated from their accounts.

7. API Usage

Customers using VoiceBuy APIs must not:

  • Abuse API endpoints
  • Generate excessive requests
  • Circumvent authentication
  • Extract data without authorization
  • Attempt to compromise platform security
  • Perform denial-of-service attacks
  • Reverse engineer APIs beyond published documentation

VoiceBuy may implement rate limiting or suspend API access to preserve platform stability.

8. Security Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for maintaining reasonable security measures, including:

  • Strong passwords
  • Multi-factor authentication where available
  • Secure network configurations
  • Timely software updates
  • Firewall protection
  • Access control management
  • Employee security awareness

9. Intellectual Property

Users may not:

  • Copy proprietary software
  • Remove copyright notices
  • Misrepresent VoiceBuy branding
  • Infringe third-party intellectual property rights
  • Distribute copyrighted material without authorization

10. Fair Usage

VoiceBuy operates a shared cloud infrastructure.

Customers must not engage in activities that unreasonably consume shared resources or negatively impact other users.

VoiceBuy may implement reasonable technical limitations to ensure platform stability and fair resource allocation.

11. Monitoring

To maintain the integrity and security of the Services, VoiceBuy may monitor:

  • Network traffic
  • Authentication events
  • API activity
  • System logs
  • Security events
  • Service performance

Monitoring is conducted solely for operational, security, fraud prevention, compliance, and service improvement purposes.

VoiceBuy does not monitor the content of customer communications except where required by law, necessary for service delivery, or authorized by the customer.

12. Reporting Abuse

Customers are encouraged to report suspected:

  • Fraud
  • Spam
  • Security incidents
  • Service abuse
  • Network attacks
  • Unauthorized account access
  • Policy violations

Reports should be submitted through VoiceBuy’s official support or contact channels.

13. Enforcement

VoiceBuy reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this Policy.

Where appropriate, VoiceBuy may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Issue warnings
  • Suspend affected Services
  • Restrict platform access
  • Block malicious traffic
  • Disable compromised accounts
  • Terminate Services
  • Notify carriers or partners
  • Report unlawful activity to competent authorities

These actions may be taken without prior notice where necessary to protect the platform, customers, or third parties.

14. Customer Cooperation

Customers agree to cooperate with VoiceBuy during investigations of suspected security incidents, fraud, abuse, or violations of this Policy.

Failure to cooperate may result in suspension or termination of Services.

15. Policy Updates

VoiceBuy may modify this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulatory requirements, industry best practices, or business operations.

The revised version becomes effective upon publication on this page.

Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
